The CNMG insert is an 80° negative rake diamond-shaped turning insert. It is commonly used with PCLNR / DCLNR / MCLNR tool holders and is widely applied in external turning, facing, internal turning, as well as medium to rough machining. It is suitable for both CNC lathes and conventional lathes, and is particularly ideal for steel machining and heavy cutting operations.
