The GIPATYZ-35V-1.2 insert is an uncoated carbide grooving insert with 35° angle, specially developed for grooving and turning of aluminum alloys and non-ferrous metals. Its polished rake face effectively prevents built-up edge, delivers low cutting force and excellent surface finish, mainly used for external grooving, face grooving and semi-finish profiling. It is matched with GIPATYZ series dedicated grooving tool holders for CNC lathe.
