Tungsten carbide balls offer extremely high hardness and excellent wear resistance, along with high strength, good corrosion resistance, and strong performance at elevated temperatures. They can achieve very high precision. However, they are relatively brittle and have lower impact resistance.
They are widely used in precision bearings, valve sealing systems, chemical and oil industry equipment, carbide tool components, shot blasting equipment, and measuring instruments. They are especially suitable for high-wear, high-load, and demanding working conditions.
